OUR CONCEALED CARRY CLASS SCHEDULE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. At the end of this class, you will receive a certificate of completion which Virginia requires you to have to prove competency. You will take this certificate to your local courthouse and pay an additional fee, to which your official permit will be mailed or issued to you. You cannot carry concealed until you have your permit from your court!

To take our class, it is $75.00. There will be a separate fee you must pay to your local court when you apply for your permit through them. Each jurisdiction differs but on averge, it is $50.00.

No. This class is not a live-fire class. No ammunition or live firearms are needed. We host live-fire and force on force classes that can be signed up for after this class.

No. New to firearms or a seasoned shooter, this class is built for both.

Absolutely. You'll receive the certification mandated under Virginia Code §18.2‑308.09.

A US Citizen, permitted to own a firearm in the United States
Those who are not classified as a "prohibited possessor", legally permitted to own firearms.
Those who have not been charged with domestic violence at any time.
Those who have not been involuntarily admitted to an emergency facility due to a mental disorder that would make it dangerous for you to own or use firearms.
Those who are not currently taking medications that would be classified as "altering". (Any medication that is advised to be taken while driving or operating machinery would fall under this category).
Those who currently do not have nor have a consistent history of suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts.

After you have received your permit in the mail from the courts, your permit is valid for 5 years.

STALKERS
Approximately 13.5 million individuals are stalked in the U.S. every year. Around 22.5% of women (28.8 million) and 9.7% of men (11.9 million) experience stalking in their lifetimes. Studies indicate that roughly 46% of stalkers ultimately display physical violence toward their victims, and the risk multiplies drastically if threats of harm have been communicated.

We don’t get to choose when and where these situations happen but we can choose how we respond to preserve life or limb. We are now seeing a clear pattern of how to survive, and even stop an active shooter: an armed response.
