The WHAT:
Our Intermediate Edged Weapons class. This class is the sequel to our popular Combative Edge Level I course. Just like Level 1, the first day of this class will focus on stopping deadly ambush-style knife attacks with your bare hands and breaking down your attacker to increase your chances of survival. You will learn additional tactics to stop other angles of attacks that were not covered in level I. Hard-hitting takedowns, ground and pound, and pins will all be on the menu.

Day 2 also delves further into the Combative Edge Knife Fighting System, adding ALL of our 9 angles-of-attack to your arsenal (only 4 are covered in Level I). You will learn how to fight with your EDC blade in the most effective way possible . At the end of the day, you will be using your newly-learned tactics on real, resisting role-players using our special marking blades!

We’ve taken the BEST techniques from multiple knife-fighting disciplines to create an effective, intuitive, and easy-to-learn system that you can use the day you leave the class. Combative Edge is more than just a martial system, it is an experience.

The WHY: Our Level II class brings back all of the fight-stopping concepts learned in Level I while also arming students with new perspectives. Students will learn essential grappling, striking, and pinning skills to increase their survival in an ambush knife attack. Learning how to deal with vicious stabs from the reverse-grip and how to crush attackers with takedowns and pins are also features of level II.
This class is also designed to evolve the combat mindset students left with during Level I. The challenges and pace in Level II will be tougher.
