Close Quarters Room Clearing I

The WHAT: This course teaches the fundamentals of Close Quarters Battle (CQB) with the use of carbines and handguns.

The WHY: Carbines and handguns remain the most commonly used weapons in close quarters encounters. Popular weapons like the AR-15 find themselves in more vehicles, homes, and offices now more than ever. Knowing how to enter rooms while engaging or pushing out threats is an important skill to have. Geared towards the professional and the prepared citizen alike, those who attend can expect to learn skills for dealing with home invasions, active shooters, and other close-quarters scenarios.

The HOW: Students will learn how to effectively and safely clear rooms of threats as individuals and in pairs. The class will be 8 hours in total, 4 of which will be learning techniques and the remaining 4 as Force-on-Force scenarios. The Force-on-Force block of the course will have students placed in real-world scenarios, engaging some of the best role-players in the industry. With the use of our realistic Sim Rifles and Handguns, it will be as close to reality as one can get.

Prerequisites- This class requires intermediate firearms handling skills. Students taking this class must have some prior weapons training with handguns and rifles. Inclusive learning space to all genders, orientations, religions, ethnicity, and skill levels.
